The Coordinator of the Civil Engineering Association, Devansh Mishra, sat down with the Oasis English Press to talk about the association’s preparations for their second foray into Oasis. 

The association would conduct two events: Safeguard Your Tower and Trivia Jenga. The former, according to Devansh, would be a fun event where in the first round, teams build towers from cardboard boxes and in the second round, they try to demolish towers of the other teams. In the latter, the person has to answer a trivia question before their turn. Since these were events where participants went toe-to-toe against each other, Devansh hoped to receive a good response.

He said that the association usually conducted events for APOGEE, but decided to step into Oasis with games to appeal to a wider audience. He also mentioned that there had been very little workload such as getting the inventory and planning. He claimed that they have not faced any huge issues or setbacks so far.

Devansh stated that his experience as Coordinator had been good and that he had a lot of fun attending the meetings. He mentioned that their team was excited for the event and that everyone had given their best. On a parting note, Devansh urged the general BITSian to enjoy the fest to fullest.
