Gaming Club

With BOSM 2026 fast approaching, the BOSM English Press (BEP) interviewed Himnish Taneja, the coordinator of the Gaming Club, to learn more about the club’s plans for the fest.

Himnish began by sharing that the club would be hosting its usual gaming stall during BOSM, along with two to three sponsored events. The club would also be debuting their new event—‘Fusion League’ this year, where students would form teams with their friends and compete against other teams in a gaming tournament at the stall. He highlighted that the club’s plans this year were expanded from the previous edition of BOSM, during which they conducted only one event.

When asked about the club’s pre-fest work, Himnish said preparations began as early as mid-June, with the club sorting out event ideas and sponsorships well ahead of the fest. He also thanked the CoSSAc as well as BOSM Sponz for their support, especially in managing the logistical requirements of the events.

Himnish stated that the club had secured several sponsorships for this year’s fest. Among these was  ‘Too Yumm’—the official snacking partner of BOSM 2026, which had already supplied more than 150 boxes, with another shipment yet to arrive. He described this as one of the largest sponsorships brought to BOSM.

Reflecting on his experience as a coordinator for a second year, Himnish described it as smoother than the previous one, attributing it to the experience he gained from working with the SFC, CoSSAc, BOSM Sponz, and the sponsors during his first stint.

On a parting note, he encouraged the GBM, especially the ’26 batch experiencing their first-ever fest on campus, to visit the gaming stall, try out the games and make the most of the events.
