Expectations run high as the CrAC team gears up for an even stronger BOSM ’17.
With a cool, level tone, coordinator Raghavendra Nimiwal explains what his team of artists plan on doing differently this year. ‘We have everything planned out,’ he says. ‘Classes during BOSM shouldn’t be that much of a problem for us this year.’
Last year, the footfall at Crac-O-Dial –CrAC’s short game sessions during BOSM—was near three-fifty strong. This year, they’re planning on making this event even bigger than it was before. With a higher expected footfall, and more activities than there were last year, Nimiwal requests that the general BITSian population try the event out this year.
On top of Crac-O-Dial, the club is also busy making the BOSM 3D structure for this year, and –as part of their effort towards going that extra mile—are also redesigning the BOSM torch, making three feet tall LEGO people, and making specific banners for each event. Of course, this is all not to mention the upcoming Marvel wall art at Gym-G.
Raghavendra, who has been a part of CrAC since the first semester of his freshman year, speaks of the coordinating experience with fond reflection of his own past at the club. A homegrown CrAC member, he looks forward to adding his own flavour to the BOSM ’17 experience; something that is clear from the level of enthusiasm with which he speaks of CrAC and its activities. ‘We’re planning on making our contribution even larger this year,’ he says about the matter.
Even for a team this large, managing all of it is by no means a small task. CrAC, though, is excited and more than up for the task.
