The Embryo Club conducts various online talks on different topics. It has also brought famous personalities like Amish Tripathi and Jayant Narlikar to deliver talks on campus in the recent past. During Oasis, the Embryo Club will be organising a guest talk by S.S. Rajamouli, the director of the film Baahubali. Mr. Rajamouli will also be the chief guest of Oasis 2017.

Baahubali is one of the most popular movie series in Indian fiction. The director of the movie, Mr. Rajamouli will be speaking about his experiences during the event, which will be open-for-all. ‘The Oasis Talk’ is a much awaited interactive session with Mr. Rajamouli. After Mr. Rajamouli delivers his talk, a few questions will be taken from the audience.

“After the Oasis theme release, we started getting in touch with various eminent personalities related to the world of fiction. The members of our club first send a mail pitching to the speaker they would want to work with, and this is followed by rounds of negotiation with the speaker and his associates. Our work spans the summer holidays and peaks during the month of September. Now that the speaker has been finalised, most of our work is centred around publicising the event.”, said Sagar Daliya, the coordinator of the Embryo Club. This is the second time the club will be conducting ‘The Oasis Talk’ and Daliya feels that the club has shown major growth in the past couple of years.

Sagar Daliya is positive that Embryo will continue to get renowned personalities in future editions of Oasis and hopes that BITSians turn up for the talk in huge numbers, thereby making the event a great success.
