Amidst the vigorous preparations for BOSM 2023, the BOSM English Press (BEP) paid a visit to the captain of the Boys’ Volleyball team, Aaryan Sinha, in order to talk about the team’s ongoing preparations for the fest.

Aaryan expressed his delight in being able to perform for his team and college. He commented on the progress the team has made since the previous edition of BOSM and added that the glory of winning medals in BOSM for team Pilani was worth at least a month of sincere efforts, consistent practice, and sacrifice on the team’s part. With the new weight of captaincy, Aaryan felt it was his responsibility to motivate the team both on and off the ground. 

He intends to maintain the current distinguished status of the team, which won a silver medal in BOSM 2022. After elaborating on the necessity of maintaining discipline to achieve better results, he stated that under the guidance of the team’s coach, the team has learned from its mistakes and evolved. Aaryan added that the team expected endurance and resilience from the newest recruits. 

He addressed the problems faced by the team in their preparations, especially the numerous injuries endured by the players. He also mentioned that each sport team requires a tremendous amount of support and further invited all BITSians to be mesmerized by the volleyball team’s performance in the upcoming sports fest.
