The BOSM English Press sat down with Sanjay Chowdary Jampani, the Coordinator of the Department of Audiforce, to gain insights into their preparations and responsibilities for the upcoming fest. 

Sanjay explained that the department’s primary responsibilities include regulating the entry and exit during events at South Park and N2O. He added that they also provide security to smaller events conducted by clubs.

Sanjay mentioned that leading up to the days of the fest, the department barricades South Park and calls security officers for surveillance. He further explained that the department also makes seat reservations for departments and clubs and that during the fest, the department scans tickets to permit entries to Professional Shows.

When asked how working with his junior batches has been, Sanjay remarked that he looks forward to explaining and showing the first-year batches how the work is done as this is their first fest. He believes that the second-year batch will guide them properly in their work. He added that it is the work Audiforce does that motivated him to stand for Coordinator of the department.

Addressing the challenges faced by the department, Sanjay stated that as BOSM dates were confirmed late, they faced a problem with the Chief Security Officer regarding the assignment of guards for the fest. He also mentioned that due to past complications, the department decided to change the barricade vendor this time.

On a concluding note, Sanjay advised everyone to participate in the Professional Shows and requested everyone to buy tickets for them.
