With the 52nd edition of Oasis only a few days away, Sulabh Mittal, the Coordinator of the Fashion Club, sat down with the Oasis English Press to talk about the club’s preparation for the fest.

Sulabh said that they would be organising Fiesta de Neon, as they have done in the last two editions of Oasis, but with a new theme and improved decorations. He mentioned that the event would be held at SAC on Day 0, where the club would provide bracelets, acrylic face paints and other neon-themed accessories. He also remarked that the club had invited a DJ and set up a mocktail bar to elevate the experience.

Sulabh said that he expected a good turnout this year and was concerned about the club’s ability to control the crowd. He said he had requested the StuCCA to provide guards but had not received a definite answer. Barring this, he expected everything to go smoothly and was confident about the success of the event.

Reflecting on his experience as the Coordinator, Sulabh said that he was dedicated to improving the club culture and making the club more popular. He stated that they had amped up their recruitment and were also working on a monthly fashion magazine to keep people up to date with current fashion trends.
