The coordinator of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AiChE) chapter of BITS Pilani, Arnav Pandey, sat down with the APOGEE English Press (AEP) to discuss the work the team is putting in for the upcoming fest.
When asked about the association, Arnav explained that AiCHE participates in national competitions such as the Student Regional Conference (SRC)—where they display their ChemiCar, a miniature model of a car which works on chemical reactions and is designed on TinkerCad. AiCHE also plans to launch their brand-new newsletter, which would be the first of its kind for Chemical Engineering.
Arnav stated that this APOGEE, AiCHE planned to show off their newest refinements to the ChemiCar and continue their yearly tradition of Chemi-Jeopardy, which would be held over Unstop. Arnav expressed that he was very satisfied with the collective work done by his team, especially considering the budget constraints and the tight schedule.
Arnav appreciated the CoStAA for all their hard work and expressed his gratitude to be the coordinator of AiCHE. On a closing note, he encouraged everybody to come to the events organized by the association during APOGEE ‘25. He further stated that one must look beyond the name of the club when deciding if it is the right fit for them, because, he added, ‘we build a community of like-minded people, that stick with us and build the essence of the club, more than the physical identity of it.’
