All throughout his interview, Sailesh R.—Oasis ’18 coordinator for the Department of Audi Force—took on what was mostly a calm and relaxed tone.
The major work for Audi Force is manning the gates in and around the auditorium during professional shows, making sure that proper ticket checks and identity clearances are made. This is essential, as it helps root out potential financial errors in the form of freeloaders. In addition to that, they also make sure that the artists themselves exit peacefully and well before the audience does.
The work for Audi Force hasn’t changed much over the years. Being the department in charge of the auditorium security and clearance during professional shows, their work happens majorly during the fest and usually ends with events themselves. As a result, their work does not require much planning; their first planning meeting with the StuCCA happens less than a week before the fest.
Overall, their work is stable and the department hasn’t seen a lot of managerial changes since its inception. The department is confident in its capacity to do the things that it’s meant to do — as was evident from Sailesh’s calmness during the interview.
