The Oasis English Press sat down with Gudupudi Thisya Kethu, the coordinator of the Department of Audiforce (Audiforce), to gain insight into their responsibilities and preparations for the fest.

Thisya outlined the main duties of Audiforce, which revolve around managing security at the entry and exit points during prof shows and auditorium events, as well as scanning tickets. He said that they make provisions for on-campus security by discussing with the Associate Dean, Student Welfare Division, the Chief Warden, the Chief Security Officer (CSO), and the Department of Firewallz. He added that this year marks a “big change” for the department as it takes on more responsibilities during the fest like barricading the areas surrounding the prof shows. 

He emphasised that the most fulfilling aspect of working in Audiforce was getting to know the people in his department and building friendships with them. Besides that, he said that he enjoys spending time with his department during the prof shows. 

He highlighted that although their work is well-structured, they occasionally face challenges when individuals attempt to sneak into concerts and their VIP zones.

Thisya concluded by requesting the GBM to follow the rules which have been set for entry into prof shows and enjoy them.
