With BOSM right around the corner, there’s no rest for the too tired. To commemorate the National Sports Day and in the build up to BOSM, the Sports Council organised a BOSM Cycling Event on September third at 6.15 AM. There were close to 20 participants assembled at the Clock Tower.
The cycling trail, marked by white arrows on the paths, began with a left turn at Krishna Bhawan, and onto the straight path leading to ANC, Gym-G, and further ahead to Akshay. It was followed by a right turn at Shiv Ganga, and the entire stretch of the residential complexes. Moving ahead, one took a left at the Gandhi statue and cycled on the path adjacent to SAC, Looters and the Science Museum, and a lap was completed once the Clock Tower was crossed. The trail was approximately seven kilometers long, consisting of two laps. The event was zestful and dynamic throughout its duration. By 7.15 AM, the finish line was crossed by all, after which refreshments were distributed. Finally, the winners and participants had their pictures taken, and the event had come to an end.
