BOSM is a period in the academic calendar where the spotlight is deservedly fixed on sportsmen and sportswomen. The non-sporting populace come in every shape and size: some just missed the cut for BOSM, and there are those whose most strenuous activity of the year is a midnight trip to ANC. Fret not, for the CoSSAc has something in store for everyone.

Informalz has a variety of events on offer as they host everything from childhood favourites like Siege to fusion games such as Monopoly+Carrom. Their chief event Anti-chess, consists of a variation of rules and elements of the classic board game. DLE is in charge of ‘The Punch Hour’, a comedy show featuring Sumit Anand and Rahul Subramanian. A Punjabi Ghatka and freestyle football show is also scheduled to take place in Rotunda. DLE will be hosting Street Football and Box Cricket: events that have enjoyed considerable success over the years.

For those who prefer exercising their grey cells, ELAS will be conducting specialised cricket and football quizzes which will culminate in the fest’s flagship quizzing event – the BOSM Sports Quiz. A workshop being conducted by well renowned photographer Sourabh Gandhi, will allow one to hone his or her photography skills; the flurry of activity on campus is set to provide several frame-worthy moments.

Kabbadi, being organised by HCA, not only draws in huge participation but also makes for fun viewing. Building on the sport’s success HCA has introduced Tug of War, which is open for all. Gaming Club is hosting Ignition, a video gaming tournament. Up for grabs are prizes and more importantly, bragging rights in CS:GO, DOTA, FIFA and BLUR.

If none of this sounds interesting, Radioaktiv is hosting a wide variety of stage events such as JAMs, karaokes Open Mics, and Minute to Win It. If the aforementioned events still aren’t appealing enough, one always has the option of going out and cheering for the myriad athletes competing around campus.
