Coding Club

Rohit Nagpal, the Coding Club’s Coordinator, was recently interviewed by the BOSM English Press about the club’s preparations for BOSM 2024. The club’s popular Roulette app, which allows students to wager on match outcomes and accumulate points, is being managed by the team.

Over the years, the Roulette app has become a standout feature of BOSM. When asked about this year’s updates, it was shared by Rohit that the main improvements have been focused on enhancing the app’s design. The app’s user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) have been polished by dedicated second- and third-year students, with considerable effort having been put into ensuring the app is both user-friendly and visually engaging.

Rohit’s role as Coordinator was described by him as ‘an enjoyable and gratifying experience’. He stated that the creative freedom provided by the position has been particularly satisfying. Additionally, the support of the club members has been highlighted by him, helping to keep things relatively stress-free. The app was encouraged by him to be explored by students to fully enjoy BOSM.
