With BOSM right around the corner, the BOSM English Press sat down with Sahil Shah, the coordinator of the Comedy Hub, more popularly known as ComHub, to talk about the event they will be organising during BOSM.

Similar to their event in APOGEE 2022, ComHub is hosting ‘Back to School’—an event where they conduct ‘childhood’ games. According to Sahil, the nature of these games puts everyone on a level playing field. This leads to a balanced competition where ‘everyone can play and have fun during BOSM.’

This time, ComHub plans to start the event around 5 PM at the LTC road to ensure that there is proper visibility, which was an issue they faced during the last fest. The planned games are Red Light Green Light, Fire on the Mountain, Nadi Parvat, Dog & The Bone, Four-Legged Race, Gold Spot, and Pitthu. 

ComHub was founded in 2019 and since then ‘Back to School’ has been their only fest event. However, the club plans to increase their ‘campus presence’ and be more involved in campus activities. This includes a suite of events that are planned for Oasis, including a comedy show.

On a closing note, Sahil emphasised the importance of comedy as a powerful tool to disseminate information. He mentioned that ComHub events will always be open to all and that ‘there will never be anyone to make fun of you, whether your joke lands or not.’
