The BOSM English Press sat down with Subhash, the Coordinator of the Department of Audiforce (Audiforce), to understand their responsibilities and preparations towards BOSM 2025.

He began by highlighting the key responsibilities taken by the department during the fest. These included barricading South Park for the Prof Show, ticketing, and accompanying the artist from VFAST to South Park for the concert. He added that the department also provided security and ticketing services at other events conducted by various clubs and departments throughout the fest. For instance, they had been in talks for ticketing rights for the afterparty that would be conducted at SAC during BOSM this year.

So far there have been seventeen new recruits from the new batch, who are well aware of their upcoming responsibilities, Subhash explained.  He felt positive about the way the new members had blended themselves in the department ‘vibe’. He also noted that the department was more closely knit now as compared to previous semesters. Additionally, the task of training the freshers for the work had been completely managed by the second-year members of the department. 

Subhash explained that the challenge of people trying to enter the Prof Show without purchasing a ticket was less frequent at BOSM, which makes the fest more transparent, as opposed to Oasis and APOGEE. He mentioned that the department is working with the campus guards to increase the distance between the regular entry and the VIP box entry this year, in order to prevent people from jumping into the VIP area.

On a closing note, Subhash encouraged the BITSians to attend the Prof Show and all other events during BOSM. He described the upcoming Prof Show as a good opportunity to ‘vibe, dance, and have fun’.
