This campus does not believe in warming up.
From day one, it has been timetables shifting, registration drama, and professors already taking surprise tests like we are in the middle of the semester. Clubs and departments did not help either. Orientations, auditions, interactions — everything crammed into the same three weeks.
And then came the attendance policy and the moment none of us at EPC saw coming: our little Instagram post blew up. What we thought would be a casual post on changes in campus suddenly had the entire campus talking, sharing, arguing, and tagging friends. For the first time, it felt like we were not just reporting on the chaos, we were a part of it. Overwhelming? Definitely. But also kind of thrilling, to realise people wanted to listen, respond, and be part of the conversation.
That is the spirit we have carried into Issue One. We have attempted to pin down what is happening on campus. It does not claim to have answers, but it does try to start conversations.
So yes, the semester has already been insane, but if the first three weeks are any indication, it is going to be a ride worth documenting.
We hope you have as much fun reading as we had writing!
