The English Language Activities Society, often called ELAS by admirers, is in charge of most quizzing activities on campus. Samksha Bhardwaj, the Coordinator, took time out of an obviously hectic schedule to talk about the club’s plans for BOSM.

This year, ELAS will conduct three events during BOSM – a Sports Quiz, a Football Quiz, and a Cricket Quiz. Although the questions will be prepared by external quiz-masters, these quizzes will be hosted by members of the club. Funding has been adequate, and the CoSSAc has allowed the club to hire Rithwik Kambil as a quiz-master.

Hence, most of the pre-fest work includes reminding the quiz-masters to send questions on time and publicizing the aforementioned events, by relentlessly spamming social media. The Coordinator and the Joint Coordinator also have planning and logistical duties to take care of so as to ensure that everything takes place in a smooth manner.

‘Ongoing classes won’t be an excuse this time. All events will be held either at night or on Sunday morning. Please show up’, Samksha said in conclusion.
