The BOSM English Press interviewed Mudit Goyal, the Coordinator of the Hindi Activities Society (HAS), to delve into their preparations for BOSM 2023.
HAS’ contribution to BOSM 2023 will be their closing event, “N2O”, a comedy night promising hearty laughs and indelible moments. This year, they have enlisted the talents of Rahul Dua and Sorabh Pant to grace the stage, ensuring that this N2O will be a crowd-pleaser.
Besides N2O, HAS collaborated with the Department of Visual Media (DVM) to host an online quiz on the BOSM app called “Quilympics”. The event promises a fun-filled six-round sports trivia quiz that engages participants throughout the fest.
When asked about the challenges encountered in organising these events, Mudit highlighted ticket sales as their primary hurdle. However, they remain optimistic about a remarkable response from the GBM.
This year, they have carefully selected well-known and relevant artists for N2O, with a focus on delivering a memorable closing event that truly resonates with the BITSian audience. Mudit also expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation between HAS, the CoSSAc, and the Sports Union, noting that they have been incredibly cooperative and enjoyable to work with. BOSM Controls and DVM have also been valuable partners in realising these events, according to him.
Reflecting on his experience as the coordinator, Mudit had nothing but praise for his dedicated workforce. He commended their work ethic and their ability to shoulder responsibilities effectively, making his tenure as coordinator an amazing experience.
In conclusion, Mudit emphasised that N2O is more than just an event organised by HAS; it belonged to the entire BITSian community. He encouraged everyone to attend and have the night of their lives, making N2O an unforgettable experience for all.
