With preparations for Pre-BOSM QT tournaments in place, the BOSM English Press indulged in some small talk with Siddharth Sengar, BOSM Coordinator for Informalz to discuss the prospects of re-opening the swimming pool.
Talking about the department’s workload, Siddharth mentioned that they had been scouting properties to buy in Monopoly. But when it came to the actual work hours, he first went on to correct it to a singular noun and then shared that all members assemble around 9 PM to discuss new board games to buy.
Just like old times, Informalz is going ahead with Human-Foosball, a fenced arena and ropes to confine the players to move horizontally and play football. Another such game is Anti-Chess. Not revealing the details gives the game a potential benefit of doubt. As for the new additions, they have adulterated some classic board games with the same Informalz chicanery that we have come to love and expect.
When asked about his expectations, Siddharth just wished to be able to expect from his juniors in the future, in ways similar to the current batch of seniors.
Shifting to a serious tone, BOSM was weighed against BPL but the conversation lost track and there was no conclusion. Siddharth asserted that they had plans for BPL last year but eventually their events did not materialise. Attempts to recall details for the same resulted in an acknowledgement of the lack of puppies on campus to put an end to the awkward silence.
While reflecting on his role, Siddharth first mentioned that they recruited last semester and are also looking forward to procuring SFC members new recruits this semester. Moving on to his current priorities he ensures that members attend all meetings and enjoys checking out the inventory every now and then.
“Before we conclude, could you address our rea—”
“Come play with us”.
He smirked.
