The Oasis Hindi Press (OHP), like every other club, is putting in efforts to make this milestone special. The Oasis English Press (OEP) spoke to its bilingual counterpart to find out about the events they are organising for Oasis.

The OHP is ‘running with its step down on the accelerator’ in order to bring out an edition of its newsletter—WallMag—at least a week prior to the commencement of Oasis. The WallMag will outline all the main events that are being held during Oasis. During the fest, they aim to maintain a daily news bulletin covering the highlights of each day.

Akash mentioned the digitisation of their newsletter as a novelty. The OHP’s flagship event during Oasis is “Bluffmaster”— a creative and fun-based event ‘where at least a hundred participants are set to have a rollicking time.’ Bluffmaster, where both individual and group participation is welcome, ‘shall be played in consonance with the theme of Oasis which is “Demesne of The Lost Gold”.’

The coordinator, elaborating upon his experience with the Hindi Press Club, said, ‘Things are looking very hectic right now in the days leading up to Oasis. Our special bid to memorialise this grand occasion is that we have gone digital.’ The OHP has also made its publications available on Instagram and Oasis’s YouTube page.
