Public Policy Club (PPC)

The APOGEE English Press sat down with Vikhyat Giri, the coordinator of the Public Policy Club, to discuss the club’s preparations for the upcoming fest.

Vikhyat explained that the club would be organising only one event this year, Real Politik.  He explained that it would be a two-round political-themed event whose primary aim is to test the participants’ geopolitical knowledge.

He went on to add that the first round would be a quiz that would serve as an elimination round and test the participants via brainteasers. 20 qualifying teams would advance to the final round, wherein they would be tasked with creating a cabinet of ministers by bidding for notable political leaders.

Vikhyat mentioned that the winner would be decided by carefully considering the participants’ choices, interpersonal relations between the ministers, and their effects on the people.

Vikhyat highlighted that he was elated to see the enthusiasm of the first and second years of the club and added that he looks forward to making the event a grand success.

Talking about APOGEE, Vikhyat said, “APOGEE this year is bound to be exciting” and mentioned how he looks forward to it.

Vikhyat has also stated that he looks forward to APOGEE this year, mentioning his expectation for it to be more exciting than last year.
