The BOSM English Press talked to Tanmay Agrawal, the Coordinator of Radioaktiv, to learn more about his club’s workings for the fest.

This BOSM, Radioaktiv is organizing two events: Laser Tag, which will be held in the SAC Hall, and an open mic, which will be held in Gym-G. Tanmay stated that due to the huge success of Laser Tag last BOSM, this time they are conducting it for two days instead of one. With a ‘better’ location, Tanmay was sure that Laser Tag was going to be a hit with the crowds this time as well.

When asked how the club’s preparations were going, Tanmay said they were going on in a timely manner, although procuring the inventory early would’ve been better, according to him. He said he understood how the Department of Controls, BOSM, was trying to provide timely and proper inventory distribution to all the clubs. However, since Radioaktiv received the needed materials a week before the fest began, they were put under a stringent time constraint.

Touching upon his experience as a coordinator, Tanmay explained various aspects of the responsibility. Finalizing budgets, negotiating deals, and handling logistics were only a part of the work he did, leading him to say that being a coordinator was undoubtedly a difficult and hectic job.
