As BOSM approached, the BOSM English Press sat down with the joint coordinators, Pratyush Kathuria and Sachinkalyan Indraganti (who were not seated), to dive into the work Matrix had planned for the fest.

They explained Matrix was a club of literature and cinema enthusiasts—’ We really like watching books and reading movies’. When asked what work they had done for the fest, they cheerfully answered—“Nothing!” They added that most of the work members did was during the movie screening, when they sat and watched movies they were not keen to view.

On how their experience was as coordinators, Sachinkalyan (who does not like to go by simply Kalyan) answered—’ It hasn’t happened yet, bro’—while Pratyush said his experience as a Coordinator was “transformative and changed my life”. They also talked about the friction they experienced as joint coordinators, as they were also roommates—“I don’t think we’re gonna be roommates again next year after this” (they were in their second year). 

When questioned about their experience with the CoSSAc, Kalyan asked: “What is a CoSSAc again?” [sic], while Pratyush went on a parallel rant about his visceral hate for the Slavic people, including but not limited to East Slavs and West Slavs 

They noted a few setbacks, including not being added to the WhatsApp group with the coordinators, captains, and the CoSSAc (who they actively learned about), and the management of their ‘extremely large’ workforce, which had been logistically challenging.

On a parting note, they asked the readers to ‘take lite’ on BOSM, as nothing noteworthy happened in it, with the sole exception of Matrix screenings.
