The Oasis English Press sat down to interview the coordinator of the Oasis Hindi Press (OHP), Anuj Garg, to gain an insight into the workings of the club.

Anuj explained that his major work began three weeks prior to the fest when they interviewed various clubs and departments for their flagship event — WallMag. Anuj said that they also covered various events during the fest and published them in their daily newsletter. In addition to this, OHP organises Bluffmaster, a ‘fun trivia event that promises its participants a delightful experience.’

Anuj explained that his role as the Oasis Coordinator is to attend meetings with departments, take part in negotiations for the optimum utilisation of the budget allotted and ensure that internal timelines are followed. Anuj believes that their love for journalism and writing brings them together. He also remarked that the experience gained by the new recruits of the team during BOSM ‘23, has significantly helped the team smoothen their functioning. 

When asked about his experience as a coordinator, Anuj replied, ‘members of the club have a strong bond and mutual respect for each other, I am getting full support from everyone, especially from Vidit Dashora who is working as the best Joint <sic> Coordinator.’
