RadioAktiv

The BOSM English Press sat down with Bhavyae Singh Bharia, the BOSM coordinator of RadioAktiv, to discuss the club’s plans for BOSM 2026.

RadioAktiv, Bhavyae explained, was a club whose main objective was to organise ‘memorable’ events. For this edition of BOSM, the club would be organising three events—Paintball, Soapy Football, and the BOSM 2026 Afterparty.

Regarding the etymology of the club’s name, he clarified that the club initially started as a ‘podcast club’ and shifted away from its origins to its current form after the COVID-19 lockdown.

When asked about the work leading up to the fest, Bhavyae elaborated that they would hold multiple work sessions with the junior batches, during which they would make props and standees for their events and work on marketing them.

On his experience as a coordinator, he stated that it was poles apart from what he previously had in mind. “It’s more than just ordering juniors around and getting work done”, he quipped, further stating that the bulk of his work was behind the scenes and fraught with challenges, which included getting the events approved by the CoSSAc, procuring the required inventory, and much more.

As a closing remark, Bhavyae encouraged the readers, especially freshmen attending their first-ever college fest, to go out and explore as much as possible of BOSM, and to take the words of those calling BOSM a ‘lite fest’ with a grain of salt. He further urged everyone to attend the events organised by RadioAktiv.
