As Oasis ‘26 drew closer, the Oasis English Press sat down with Suhasini Reddy, Coordinator of the Cubing Club, to learn about their preparations for the fest.

Suhasini stated that the club planned to put up a stall during Oasis where they would conduct a variety of cubing-related games incorporating the theme of the fest – Dawn of the Djinns. She noted that unlike previous years, they would not be conducting their ‘unofficial cubing competition’, owing to a lack of interest. Therefore, their primary preparation for Oasis would involve games for their stall.

She added that during the rest of the semester, the club holds regular cubing sessions and ‘fun nights’ to encourage stronger bonds among the club members. Suhasini further mentioned that the latest batch of recruits had been one of the largest and had made the club a lot more lively. The club also created cubical mosaics, on demand, for several events throughout the year.

On her experience as Coordinator, Suhasini said that it had been a great time and that she really enjoyed interacting with her club members.

On a parting note, she encouraged students to enjoy the fest to the fullest and urged them to visit their tent along with their friends for free and fun games.
